Here's what's going to be offered in 2008!

Equine Escapes will be closed from May 7 through

May 19. I will also be unavailable the second Tuesday

of each month due to Back Country Horsemen's meetings.

Moonlight rides will be offered during the 4-5 day full moon

phase. Moonlight rides will start in May and commence through the summer

months, weather permitting. Rides will go out on cloudless nights and may include

a night climb to the Indian ruins. Prices for a night ride per person will be $80.00 for a two hour

ride and $110.00 for a 3 hour ride. Midnight snacks provided. Hot tea, coffee, warm

cider, or ? will also be provided.  

You can usually ride the day before and up to two days after the cycle.

Please call ahead for reservations. Often the latter part of the cycle is better, the moon rises before the

sun sets, giving you more light longer.

The horses and I will be available for Weddings!

With the popularity of Western Weddings and weddings on horseback, I've decided

to offer my two trusted mounts, Savannah and her mother Fridgette, for mounted

weddings. These two fine horses have already done a wedding in downtown

Santa Fe at a local B&B. Much to the Bride and Groom's pleasure, these horses

stood at ease throughout the entire ceremony beneath poles tied with fluttering

ribbons. They even gave their permission for the Groom to kiss the Bride!

The horses have turquoise-studded bridles to add flair to the special occasion.

Bridles and other gear can be customized to the wedding party's color and theme.

Please call for more information and a price quote. Availability depends on location

and time of year. Reserve this special offer well in advance!

Basics include trailer fee in a 40 mile radius from the ranch, the fancy bridles and western saddles,

ribbons  to match in the manes and tails, and glitter (optional) applied to the hoofs. You may have

all this for 2 hours for $200.00

Optional packages include saddle coverings, (satin) Flowers, photography, and other

services.

Cattle Drives have been a popular request so....

There will be two cattle drives offered next year. One in the Spring and one in Fall.

These will be 8-9 hours in length and quite rigorous. I haven't worked out the details

yet, but the drives will be located within a 30 mile radius and will include many fine views.

The second drive is tenatively scheduled for the week of October 25-31.
