You should make an appointment for a ride a least a couple

weeks in advance.  Fridays and weekends book

faster than weekdays, as do holidays.  I often have weekday spaces open during the

busy season, so please call to see if I have an opening. My busy season is May through

October. If you make an appointment

but can't keep it, please be courteous an call as soon as possible

to cancel. I've already had horses brushed and saddled, ready to

go, and the people scheduled didn't show up or call. I don't want

to have to ask for non-refundable deposits.

RIDES MAY BE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Ride from here or trailer out. Call ahead to confirm your ride.

Weather in New Mexico is ever-changing. I will not saddle the horses

if there is a wind advisory, blowing snow, freezing rain, and lightning during our

summer monsoon season.  You get the picture.

If it too miserable/dangerous for us to be out in the weather, it's just

as bad for them.

To trailer out to other locations, add the following fees:

(Not a per person fee, but a one-time fee to cover gas and operating expenses)

Rim Vista Trail  $30.00

Ojo Caliente $25.00

Rio Chama wilderness area: $55.00 ( rapidly becoming a new hot spot due to

canyon's fabulous colors and the Rio Chama river's beauty.)

(exeptionally nice mixed forest with small streams, lush meadows, and

few people)

Colorado/Chama area:

Archuleta creek and the headwaters of the Rio Chama

This is our only out-of-state ride. It is in Colorado and requires an advance

deposit.  $ 130 trailer fee and mandatory overnight fee of $75 per person. Includes food and

camping essentials, (lights, emergency gear, firewood, propane, campstove, etc.)

Overnight fee increases to 120.00 if you are not bringing own gear. (i.e. tent, sleeping bag, etc.)

Ride minimum per day: 5 hours. We make base camp near the river and ride to the headwaters

one day and ride the Hughes trail the next day. Each night we come back to base camp.

Fees for trailer subject to change without notice. I have had to recently up the transportating fee

due to the spiraling cost of diesel. Sadly, I had to pass this cost on for transporting, but I have left

the ride prices the same for now. If feed costs go up significantly this summer, I will be forced to

pass that on as well.

The locations above marked with an asterisk*, require a minimum 4 hour ride.

Overnight at selected locations with horse trailer

and tent with extra gear: $120.00 per person.

Overnight with horse trailer

includes dinner (entree, side, and desert) and

breakfast with choice of cereal,

oatmeal, or breakfast sandwich and coffee,

choice of juice, and milk.

Pack lunches available for $8.00 per person. Choices may

include sandwiches, or other pack able foods, fruit, trail mix, and

a drink.
